The T.B.T.C. was organized in November, 1980 with the prime purpose being the obvious need to share knowledge and to advance and improve pure-bred Terriers in the Tampa Bay area.We are fortunate to number among our membership exceptionally qualified and knowledgeable breeders of fine Terriers. We are proud of the membership of the T.B.T.C. who are pleased to offer information regarding the Terrier of your choice.

Goals of the Tampa Bay Terrier Club.

• To protect and advance the interests of all breeds of pure-bred dogs, particularly Terrier breeds.

• To encourage sportmanshiplike competition at dog shows, obedience trials, agility trials, working Terrier trials, and tracking tests.

• To promote education.

• To promote good quality Terriers

• To set a standard for breeder and owner ethics.

• To act as a resource / referral for Terrier breeds.

• To create member support system.

• To provide legislative support / lobbying functions needed to support these goals
